The Project Development Associate will be responsible for supporting the Project Development team in identifying and securing potential renewable energy development sites, organizing and coordinating various land agreements, assisting in compiling information related to interconnection requests, wind resource data collection, geographic information system (GIS) mapping, supporting all permitting activities, and other general development tasks. The Development Associate will support multiple projects, progressing them through the development process. The Development Associate will help the development team deal with local community dynamics as well as the landowners, permitting authorities and other stakeholders. The candidate will manage the initial due diligence and valuation efforts for potential acquisitions; and provide various support and management for asset-related projects through economic evaluations, regulatory issues, problem resolution and support.
