    The Contracts Engineer shall assist the Director in ensuring consistent development and management of EPC contracts and various third party contracts required to purchase, develop and construct renewable energy assets.


    1. Supports the Contracts Director in developing, structuring, bidding, executing, and managing of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (“EPC”) contracts and various other third party contracts for the construction, interconnection, and operation of renewable energy projects.
    2. Participates in the issuance of Request for Proposals, evaluation of bids, and contract award.
    3. Works with in-house and external attorneys and other stakeholders to ensure contracts are complete, up to date, and easily accessible.



    • 4 year engineering degree; MBA or MS desirable



    • 5 to 7 years’ experience with contract development / execution /administration within the power generation industry; preferably wind and solar.


    Job Skills and Knowledge:

    • Conceptual understanding of contracts as well as working knowledge of the mechanics of contract development and execution.
    • Detail Orientation
    • Ability to learn quickly
    • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Strong communication skills required to interact effectively within and across departments as well with external parties.
    • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Ability to analyze and interpret contracts
    • Strong Organization ability.
