Overview

The Con Edison Clean Energy Businesses (“CEB”) are wholly owned subsidiaries of Consolidated Edison, Inc. (“CEI”). The CEBs develop, own and operate renewable energy projects and provide energy services to wholesale, commercial and government customers throughout the United States.

 

The Financial Analyst reports to the Manager of Finance and is responsible for various financial analysis, modeling, budgeting and treasury functions for the Con Edison Clean Energy Businesses (“CEB”).  The CEBs are wholly owned subsidiaries of Consolidated Edison, Inc. (“CEI”). The CEBs develop, own and operate renewable energy projects and provide energy services to wholesale, commercial and government customers throughout the United States and have revenue and assets in excess of $1 billion.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide financial analysis and modeling, including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and taxable income for budget, forecasting and planning requirements
  2. Coordinate all CEB treasury and banking functions, including: liaise with CEI Treasury on banking matters; coordinate check/wire approval process
  3. Support annual budget and planning process
  4. Support credit review process
  5. Prepare financial performance analyses for the CEBs
  6. Support insurance and bonding programs for the CEBs
  7. Provide miscellaneous analytical support and review as needed

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelors’ Degree in Finance or related field is required

 

Experience:

  • Zero to two years of relevant financial analysis, modeling and business experience is required
  • Experience in insurance and managing banking relationships is a plus
  • Treasury experience is a plus

 

Job Skills:

  • Able to interact effectively across organizational boundaries to achieve goals and meet deadlines
  • Able to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Able to efficiently, effectively and independently manage projects, processes and tasks
  • Must have good analytical skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in written and oral form
  • Must be able to work independently in fast- paced, fluid environment

 

Technical Skills:

MS Office computer skills are required, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
