    Licensed in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York City as well as Westchester, Putnam and Rockland Counties in New York State, since its founding Ross Solar has installed more than fourteen thousand kilowatts of solar for businesses and homeowners.

     

    The Manager of Project Administration is responsible for the oversight of the project management process which includes all tasks associated upon a closed/contracted sale through system commissioning. He is also responsible for all customer interactions pre and post installation, including on boarding a customer once a project is contracted, ensure that the customer’s expectations are set appropriately, needs are met and concerns are resolved in a timely professional manner. The MPA will also bridge the communication and responsibility gap between our sales manager and construction manager. This position is ultimately responsible for ensuring that our customer’s experience with CES Danbury Solar from day 1 through year 20 is an ongoing positive one. 

    Responsibilities

    1. Ensure the timely handling of all project administrative matters, including but not limited to; validation of estimated system production, application and permitting, compliance with project financing, state rebate, customer billing, and coordination of vendor invoice processing. Advocate on behalf of the customer to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. 
    2. Constant review of project pipeline to ensure their proper progress and communicate a clear path of next steps to the whole team. Maintain close communication and coordination with the Operations Manager to ensure that crew scheduling (dispatch) ties to customer expectations and if not, communicate with customer in a timely manner.
    3. Closely coordinate with the engineering and design team, as well as   sales team manager, to ensure hand off from sales to project management are organized and clearly understood.
    4. Coordinate service related (O&M) inquiries and customer service requests post installation. Ensure that the proper team is tasked with any activity required to ensure customer satisfaction. 
    5. Responsible for the timely processing of vendor invoices, billing to customers, and collection of receivables.

    Qualifications

    Education:

     

    • Bachelor in Science, Business or Engineering or similar education
    • CRM system training a plus (Sales Force)

    Experience:

     

    • 5+ year in the renewable energy resources field, with a preferred concentration in solar installations
    • 2+ years in customer focused or quality control environment role
    • 2+ year of experience as a team leader capable of planning and coordinating the activities of technical and other project support staff
