    Con Edison Development (CED) focuses on the development, ownership and operation of renewable assets.


    We are seeking to hire an Asset Analyst who will be responsible for preparing financial and production reports for CED’s assets, monitoring of the Data Acquisition Systems, invoice review/investigation/approval, asset performance analysis, contract review, and various day-to-day support tasks of CED’s Asset Management group. The position will support Asset Managers and Operators as required to ensure safe, reliable and efficient energy production at our portfolio of utility scale renewable power plants (i.e. solar and wind farms). The Asset Analyst will also support the budgeting process, identify and implement cost saving measures, and identify opportunities to enhance asset production.


    1. Prepare and review asset reports and budgets required by contract (lenders and partners), as well as any additional supporting analyses required to explain actual results or support improvement initiatives.
    2. Monitor Data Acquisition Systems and reports to ensure accuracy, as well as identify any operating issues.
    3. Track and complete various day-to-day project tasks with internal and external relationships.
    4. Identify cost saving measures, as well as opportunities to enhance or maintain asset production.
    5. Contract review to identify and summarize ongoing contractual compliance requirements for uploading into the contract compliance tracking system.
    6. Specify and procure services and components as needed to ensure asset production.
    7. Manage asset documentation in Sharepoint in order to ensure that all contracts and other documentation are readily available for reference when issues and questions, contractual or otherwise, arise.



    • Bachelor Degree with Engineering, Finance, Mathematics focus preferred
    • Master Degree a plus


    • 2-5 years working in a related Asset Management position highly preferred
    • Completion of related internship and coursework preferred

    • Demonstrated desire to learn the renewables industry required; experience in the renewables industry preferred
    • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Experience or coursework in accessing and manipulating large datasets using the Asset Management System or comparable databases
    • Experience managing Information Technology systems a plus
    • Experience or coursework with Accounting is preferred
    • Understanding of deregulated energy environment is a plus
    • Ability to understand and interpret contracts
    • High energy level, self-motivated
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to represent the company
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
