  • Overview

    The Con Edison Clean Energy Businesses (“CEB”) are wholly owned subsidiaries of Consolidated Edison, Inc. (“CEI”).   The CEBs develop, own and operate renewable energy projects and provide energy services to wholesale, commercial and government customers throughout the United States.  The CEB’s have annual revenue of approximately $500 million and assets of $3 billion.

     

    The Recruiting Coordinator will provide day-to-day administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team in the areas of full-cycle recruiting.  The Coordinator will support and maintain the recruitment activities and hiring process including interview scheduling, job postings, employee referral programs, job offer letters, candidate correspondence, new hire information packets and career fairs.

     

    This is a temporary to permanent position, with the possibility of converting to a full-time employee after 6 months.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Manage scheduling for interviews and communicate all interview logistics (i.e. phone screens, in-person interviews, virtual interviews and travel requests) with candidates and interview teams.
    • Engage in the job posting process including create requisitions in the Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS), obtain pricing and required approvals, and post positions across a variety of recruitment sources and job boards (i.e. NYS Job bank).
    • Ensure all candidate-related activities are handled efficiently, correctly and with the highest level of service.
    • Enter and ensure the integrity of information into our Applicant Tracking System, iCIMS. Route and monitor offer approvals through iCIMS, and create offer letters and assist with the development of offer letter templates.
    • Perform pre-onboarding and onboarding tasks such as creating new hire folders, coordinating orientation schedule, coordinating IT, ordering business cards, presenting new hire orientation, and collecting new hire forms (i.e. I-9’s, tax, benefit and Pay Rate forms etc.).
    • Update new hire spreadsheet and distribute new hire paperwork to candidates and monitor background checks.
    • Confirm employees’ eligibility through the E-verify system.
    • Create and distribute new hire announcements
    • Assist with coordinating and advertising recruitment events (i.e. job fairs, colleges/universities)
    • Assist with the Summer Internship Program. 

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • College degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar discipline
    • 2-3 years of HR experience, preferably in a recruitment function
    • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, iCIMS preferred
    • Knowledge of HRIS platforms, ADP Workforce preferred
