    We are looking for an Installer I to assist in the installation of residential and commercial PV systems. In this position, the Installer I will provide support to the Crew Lead of the installation team, effectively communicate within the team, and ensure the completion of tasks assigned in a timely manner. It is the responsibility of every Installer to ensure safe work practices for the installation team.

     

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities

    • Provide support to Crew Leads for installation of assigned jobs
    • Jobsite preparation, setting up ladders, safety equipment, and loading/unloading equipment and material.
    • Assist in the layout of array and mounting hardware
    •  Installation of racking, modules under the direction of the crew lead
    • Cleanup of job site
    • Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety
    • Added duties required as needed

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • High school diploma or GED required

     

    Experience:

    • Minimum 1 year of roof work, general construction, roofing or carpentry strongly preferred

    Skills

    • Basic hand tools including but not limited to ( electric impact drill, rotary drill w/ 2 batteries, 25’ tape measure, utility knife, hammer, tool belt, complete socket set, flat bar, flat and Philips screw driver
    • Must be able to lift 50lbs
    • Have an understanding of roofing systems (shingles, flashings, rafters, membranes, etc)
    • Ability to work in extreme environments (example hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc.)
    • Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops throughout the day
    • Effectively communicate with crew lead
    • Regular, reliable and predictable attendance required
    • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
    • Must have a valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record (for example, no DUI in last 5 years)
    • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen
