    Con Edison Development (CED)—a subsidiary and registered trademark of Consolidated Edison, Inc. (NYSE: ED) — acquires, develops, builds and operates large renewable and energy infrastructure of solar and wind projects, as well as has battery storage assets. CED is the second largest owner and operator of solar assets in North America with a portfolio of 2,600 MW AC in 17 states.

    As CED continues to grow, we are looking for a Contracts Manager, who will be responsible for the following in terms of solar PV electricity generating projects and wind electricity generating projects (“Renewable Electricity Generation Projects”)


    • Structuring, scoping, negotiating, executing, and managing of EPC (“Engineering, Procurement, and Construction”) Contracts, as well as supporting contracts for development or construction
    • Incorporation of various project documents including Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), Interconnection Agreements, Land Control Agreements, Permits and Scopes of Work into EPC Contracts.
    • Competitive solicitation of bids from EPC Contractors.
    • Ongoing collaboration with Business Development, Project Development and Asset Management teams to update and revise various contracts through lessons learned and changing industry norms.
    • Project turnover to Asset Management



    • Bachelor degree in Engineering preferred or related field; MBA preferred


    • An ability to work independently
    • An ability to effectively manage deadlines
    • A Strong organizational, analytical and technical aptitude
    • A Sound decision making capabilities
    • An ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously



    • Development of Utility Scale Renewable Electricity Generation Projects
    • EPC Contracting of Utility Scale Renewable Electricity Generation Projects
    • Exposure to Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), Interconnection Agreements, Land Control Agreements and Utility Scale Project Permitting
    • Experienced in Word, Nuance, Share-Point and Intra-links.
