The CEBs have a growing renewable pipeline and we are looking to add as an essential member to the team in Valhalla, NY. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing all activities required to deliver successful utility scale solar (PV) design-build projects. The projects include Investment Solar (PV) assessments, infrastructure construction, implementation contracts, conceptual engineering design, forensic engineering evaluations and system/building commissioning. The senior member will manage customer, project-related strategic alliances and subcontractor relationships and provide in-house support to the development, engineering and construction groups.


  • Develop, coordinate and manage project support services including but not limited to project design, budgeting and scheduling; pre-qualification, management of contractors, subcontractors and equipment vendors; maintaining close contact with the various stakeholders and deliverables.
  • Manage phases of construction and performance contracts including maintain or enhance customer satisfaction; collaborate with engineering, development and project management teams in conducting optimization and value engineering of renewable projects; conduct constructibility reviews; perform cost estimating and purchasing functions; manage field-related project planning, scheduling and quality control; coordinate field construction project management; direct construction contract administration and risk management activities; and manage budgets, schedules, invoicing and other contract requirements.



  • Bachelor degree in engineering, construction/project management or related degree required



  • 10 years of progressive experience in managing and implementing a range of renewable energy (i.e. solar and wind) and design-build related projects preferred
  • Previous budget, schedule, performance, quality responsibility
  • Solar or wind experience with Renewable Energy Generation in Utility scale required
  • Experience in the overall integration of design engineering, construction, start-up/turnover and subsequent O&M of renewable projects
  • Prior leadership experience in the project development and delivery areas
  • Demonstrated experience in safety focused work environment



  • Expertise in building codes, permitting and union issues
  • Sound and proven construction management and project management skills
  • Strong contract administration and construction risk management skills
  • Strong leadership, written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to represent the company with integrity and professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong computer skills including Excel, MS Project, Primarvera and Word
  • Familiarity with OSHA guidelines and reporting requirements; OSHA-10 certification/training or higher is preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Up to 50% travel may be required
