Overview

The primary responsibility of the Systems Analyst - PI will be to oversee the support of the CEB production OSI / PI servers and the applications that use them. Additional responsibility for ancillary systems related to Asset functions as needed. In addition, the employee will be involved in all aspects of the product development life cycle including gathering user requirements, assisting in the designing of application, end-to-end testing and documentation.

Responsibilities

  1. Perform system administration for multiple OSIsoft PI ecosystems (Data Archive, Connectors, and Interfaces). These duties include PI implementation, security, design, support, maintenance and DR testing
  2. Monitor and troubleshoot connectivity and data flow with remote sites, may include firewall, SCADA and other network related issues
  3. Integrate new data feeds into PI ecosystem, including coordination with internal groups and 3rd parties to complete integration efforts
  4. Assist Asset Management, Operations, and Engineering teams with troubleshooting issues related to tag creation, Asset Framework configuration and PI Vision displays
  5. Maintain documentation of PI infrastructure, maintenance schedules and DR test results
  6. Performs other related duties as requested

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • College degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.), Computer Science, or equivalent preferred.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in software development life cycle or equivalent a plus

  • OSIsoft PI:PI Archive, PI Asset Framework, PI Asset Analytics, PI Notifications, PI Interfaces and Connectors, PI Integrator for Business Intelligence, PI Vision, PI DataLink, PI ProcessBook, PI Web API
  • Communication protocols, network, and security standards: OPC DA/UA, Modbus, DNP, DCOM, Kerberos, Secure Socket Layer, SOAP
  • Software: Emerson Ovation, AlsoEnergy, Campbell Scientific LoggerNet, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Sharepoint, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Reporting Services
  • Programming: Powershell, SQL, XML, JSON, REST API
  • Database: Microsoft SQLServer 2012 or later
  • Operating Systems: All Windows platforms
